Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver energetic FSL lessons that cater to varying proficiency levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced students
- Create engaging instructional materials and activities that promote active participation and practical language use
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support growth
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and share best practices in language instruction
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans,



and student performance documentation
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and program coordinators to ensure clear understanding of learning objectives and progress

Qualifications

- Bilingual proficiency in English and French, with excellent communication skills in both languages
- Prior classroom experience teaching FSL or other language courses is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of teaching methodologies, especially in special education contexts or working with diverse learners
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans that motivate students of all ages and skill levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships within the classroom environment
- Passion for education, cultural exchange, and helping students succeed in language acquisition
