Chateau Nova Yellowhead is looking for a dependable and energetic Full-Time Banquet Porter to join our Food & Beverage team. Our Banquet Porters play an important role in preparing our event spaces for meetings, conferences, celebrations and other special events.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys an active work setting, takes pride in the details and is comfortable with a schedule that changes based on our events.

What You’ll Do

- Set up banquet and meeting rooms according to event requirements
- Set up and take down tables, chairs, staging and other event equipment
- Prepare rooms with linens, glassware, china, silverware and other required items
- Ensure banquet rooms are clean, organized and guest-ready before each event
- Reset and clean rooms following events
- Keep banquet equipment, storage areas and workspaces clean and organized
- Check in with event contacts to ensure required items are in place
- Assist with audiovisual setup and coordinate with AV contractors when required
- Work efficiently around ongoing events while minimizing disruption to guests
- Assist guests and fellow team members as needed
- Follow hotel health, safety and service standards

What We’re Looking For

- Dependable, punctual and ready to work as part of a team
- Organized with good attention to detail
- Able to follow event setup instructions and work efficiently
- Friendly and professional when interacting with guests
- Comfortable working in a busy, changing environment
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical work,



including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Open availability is required, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
