Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently and safely
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving change and balancing registers
- Conduct product demos and upselling to promote convenience store items and enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of fuel and adherence to health guidelines

Requirements

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the store, and perform physical tasks as needed
- Excellent customer service orientation with a positive attitude and phone etiquette proficiency
- Multilingual skills are advantageous for engaging with a diverse clientele
- Prior experience in merchandising or product demos is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
