The Ice Technician packs and prepares dry ice orders for different segments of Dry Ice markets while maintaining the safety, health and environmental standards of the plant. You will load trailers and ship dry ice directly to branches or customers It is important to keep the production area, warehouse, and shipping bins clean to maintain a safe and efficient workspace You will prepare shipping documents to ensure all deliveries are properly documented Operating a forklift and electric pallet jack will be part of your daily tasks Meeting established standards for productivity and quality is essential in this role You will operate, monitor, and control the various dry ice process equipment to maintain smooth operations Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet peak product demands is appreciated A high school diploma or equivalent is what we’re looking for to get started Ideally, you have one to three years of experience working in an industrial workplace, which helps you hit the ground running You should feel confident using computers and data entry systems as part of your daily tasks Having a mechanical aptitude and being comfortable working with industrial equipment will definitely help you succeed Attention to detail and accuracy will help you deliver quality work consistently If you have certifications like First Aid or Forklift Operation, that’s a great bonus and will strengthen your application Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company.
