KBI Doors is looking for a Garage Door Helper to work alongside our experienced technicians installing and servicing garage doors, commercial doors, openers, and gate systems.

No previous garage door experience is necessary. We are looking for someone with a good attitude who is willing to learn, works safely, and takes pride in doing a job properly.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day work will involve assisting our technicians on a variety of jobs, including:

- Helping install and repair residential and commercial garage doors
- Assisting with garage door operators, openers, and gate systems
- Moving and handling doors, tracks, hardware, tools, and other materials
- Using hand and power tools
- Preparing jobsites and cleaning up when the work is complete
- Learning proper installation and repair techniques from experienced technicians
- Working directly at customer locations in both residential and commercial settings
- Following established safety procedures and helping maintain a protected jobsite

Occasional out-of-town work is required. When travelling for work, accommodations and meals are covered by the company.

- Is willing and able to travel for occasional out-of-town work
- Is interested in learning a skilled trade

A valid driver's licence and clean driving abstract are required. You will also need reliable transportation to and from our office each day.

- Mechanical work

- Equipment or machinery operation
- Garage door or overhead door experience
