Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to interpret schematics.

The Gas

Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas-related systems, contributing to the overall safety and satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas systems and appliances in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, boilers, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components
- Perform welding and construction tasks as needed for system repairs or upgrades
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately execute work plans
- Conduct routine maintenance on gas equipment to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose mechanical problems using specialized tools and mechanical knowledge
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes to prevent hazards or leaks




- Document service activities accurately and report any safety concerns or system deficiencies

Qualifications

- Proven experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, HVAC systems, or related mechanical fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Experience with appliance repair, construction projects, or maintenance work preferred
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively
- Mechanic experience or background in construction is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to gas systems and general maintenance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Valid certification or licensing relevant to gas systems is a plus

Requirements

- Valid G2 Gas Technician License
- 313D License or Apprentice
- 1–3+ years of HVAC experience
- Valid G driver’s license
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.89-$28.50 per hour
