Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring quick and precise entry
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, utensils, and kitchen stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed and ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order calculations accurately
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
