Department: Food Processing – Halal Meat & Deli ProductsPosition Summary The Production Operator is responsible for performing various stages of the manufacturing process for halal deli meat products in a food processing facility. The operator handles raw materials, operates production equipment, and performs processing activities while following established recipes, production procedures, food safety requirements, quality standards, and workplace safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and handle raw materials according to established recipes and procedures.
- Perform various production activities, including weighing, preparation, mixing, grinding, stuffing, cooking, and other processing operations as assigned.
- Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform product changeovers and make necessary equipment adjustments.
- Monitor product appearance, quality, weight, and compliance throughout production.
- Follow established recipes, quantities, production specifications, and processing parameters.
- Perform required quality and production checks and complete production records.
- Follow HACCP/PCP requirements,



Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and sanitation procedures.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work surfaces according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- Immediately report any product quality issue, potential contamination, equipment malfunction, or other abnormality to the supervisor.
- Follow procedures related to the production of certified halal products and the prevention of cross-contamination.
- Perform other duties related to production operations as required.

Work Setting

- Work is performed in a refrigerated food processing facility, where temperatures may be cold to maintain appropriate conditions for food handling and product preservation.
- Frequent movement throughout production areas.
- Regular handling of food products, raw materials, and production equipment.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
