Production | Reports to: Production Supervisor | Classification: Non-Exempt | Location: Welland, ON | Travel: None The general laborer performs a variety of tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, prepping machines and tools for jobs, and eventually learning how to operate the machines. Closely following directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Job training for this position is provided by the department trainer. Job training for this position is provided by the department trainer.

Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
