Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with locating products or answering questions to enhance their shopping experience
- Stock shelves efficiently by receiving deliveries, organizing products, and ensuring proper placement for easy access
- Maintain cleanliness of the store by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring aisles are tidy and safe for shoppers
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays that attract customer attention and promote sales
- Use organizational skills to manage inventory levels, restock items promptly, and monitor product expiration dates




- Assist with forklift operation when necessary to move heavy or bulk items safely within the store or storage areas

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Ability to operate a forklift safely; certification is a plus but training can be provided if needed
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members in a bilingual environment (English/Spanish or other languages)
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, maintain displays, and keep the store orderly
- Basic cashiering skills or willingness to learn cash register operations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
