The Global Supply

Chain (GSC) Business Planner supports the Oshawa Assembly GSC organization by coordinating business planning, performance management, financial forecasting, safety and compliance activities, and cross-functional initiatives. This role helps ensure GSC priorities are aligned, tracked, and executed across the plant. Coordinate GSC business planning routines, including KPI reviews, BPD updates, action tracking, and plant and business plan meetings.

Analyze financial information, complete monthly true-ups, and support forecasting and cost-management activities. Partner with GSC leaders and cross-functional teams to identify issues, improve processes, and support execution of business priorities. Support safety, training, dangerous goods, export compliance, and workplace transportation requirements through accurate tracking, reporting, and follow-up.

Contribute to GMS, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and One Team initiatives. Support digital enablement within GSC by helping develop and implement dashboards, workflow improvements, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve visibility, decision-making, and productivity. Help establish standard work, governance, and user adoption for new digital and AI capabilities.





Successful conpletion of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field;

Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, business planning, finance, analytics, or continuous improvement.

Experience with Microsoft Excel and digital reporting or visualization tools. Exposure to Power BI, automation, SQL, Python, or AI applications is an asset. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across functions. Ability to translate business needs into practical process, technology, and performance improvements.
