Position: Guidewire Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – P&C; Insurance

As a Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) , you will serve as the primary bridge between complex business strategies and technology execution for core Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance systems. This role requires a highly analytical professional with 8+ years of P&C; industry depth and 5+ years of dedicated experience across Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter

. You will not just gather requirements; you will dive deep into backend data structures, compose advanced SQL queries, design application specifications, and translate transactional premium allocation processing logic into technical realities.

Key Responsibilities

- Guidewire Core Analysis: Formulate, define, and configure systems scope and objectives specifically for Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter architectures.
- Technical Specifications: Translate complex business requirements into clear application design specifications, including creating UI mockups and developing pseudo-code where necessary.
- Data & SQL Engineering: Query, map, and analyze backend relational databases ( DB2, SQL Server ) to troubleshoot system logic and validate downstream reporting.
- Financial & Premium Logic Architecture:



Deconstruct complex transactional processing standards required for accurate premium allocation, ensuring alignment with statistical and financial reporting.
- Technical Advisory: Partner with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Teams to communicate technical concept alternatives, navigate integration paths, and design project plans.
- SDLC Execution: Facilitate end-to-end delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies to support the engineering lifecycle from discovery through production deployment.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C;) Insurance industry.
- Guidewire Toolset: 5+ years of specialized experience as a Business Systems Analyst working directly with Guidewire PolicyCenter AND Guidewire ClaimCenter .
- Database Mastery: Strong working proficiency in relational databases ( DB2, SQL Server ) with proven capability to independently compose and run SQL queries.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of insurance financials, premium transactional processing, and statistical reporting standards.
- Delivery Methodology: Robust knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with practical experience working within an Agile environment.
