About JamFit

JamFit Energy Studio is a family-owned fitness and movement studio in Manotick offering gymnastics, fitness, and wellness programs for children, teens, and adults. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Gymnastics Coach to join our Manotick team.

The Role The Gymnastics Coach will lead fun, secure, and engaging gymnastics classes for children while helping them develop coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, confidence, and fundamental gymnastics skills.

Responsibilities

- Lead gymnastics classes for children ages approximately 4–14.
- Teach age-appropriate gymnastics and tumbling skills.
- Create a fun, positive, and encouraging environment.
- Adapt activities to different skill levels and abilities.
- Maintain a secure and organized training environment.
- Set up and put away gymnastics equipment.
- Provide positive feedback and coaching to participants.
- Communicate professionally with parents when needed.
- Follow JamFit safety procedures, policies, and coaching standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio.

Qualifications
- Previous gymnastics coaching experience preferred.
- Gymnastics experience or competitive background is an asset.
- Experience working with children.




- NCCP or gymnastics coaching certification is an asset.
- First Aid/CPR is an asset.
- Vulnerable Sector Check required.
- Reliable, punctual, energetic, and professional.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and can bring energy, patience, creativity, and confidence to every class. You should be comfortable coaching children with different abilities and skill levels while making every participant feel successful.

Compensation

$17.90-$20, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Part-time, with evening and weekend availability preferred. Additional hours may become available as our programming grows.
