We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Halal Meat Butcher to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging high-quality Halal meat products in accordance with food safety standards and religious guidelines. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive fresh, properly handled, and beautifully presented meat products.

Responsibilities

- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of Halal meats using proper butchery techniques to ensure quality and consistency
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols during all stages of meat handling and processing
- Package meat products securely for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist customers with their selections by providing knowledgeable advice on different cuts and preparation methods




- Monitor inventory levels of meat supplies and communicate needs for restocking or ordering to management
- Support team members in maintaining a smooth workflow during busy periods while adhering to safety guidelines

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food industry, especially in food preparation or butchery, is highly preferred
- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and proper food handling practices
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations relevant to meat processing
- Strong attention to detail when preparing and packaging products
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Kitchen experience or training in food preparation is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
