We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Hardware Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and advantages
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
Requirements
- Knowledge of hardware supplies and tools (definitely an asset)
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per year
