About the opportunity: Head of Marketing

We are seeking an ambitious, hands-on marketer to build the marketing function from the ground up. You'll start by driving awareness and visibility, and grow into owning marketing strategy, brand, and demand generation as you prove impact — partnering closely with Sales and Customer Success along the way.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to apply what they've learned so far in their career to build something from scratch. You'll have real ownership over strategy and execution for an already strong business with excellent product-market fit — a rare chance to create a function rather than inherit one.

Immediate Priorities

- Build our LinkedIn presence. Establish a consistent company and executive voice, grow followers and engagement, and make LinkedIn a real channel for visibility.
- Create and publish educational content. Stand up a regular cadence of content — posts, articles, and other materials — that positions us as a knowledgeable, credible voice in our space.
- Launch product announcements. Plan and execute go-to-market messaging for new product releases and features.
- Increase awareness among prospective customers. Get the company in front of the right buyers more often and more consistently than we do today.

Long-term objectives: As you demonstrate results, this role will grow into:

- Developing and owning the full marketing strategy




- Enabling Customer Success with marketing collateral and sales/CS enablement materials
- Driving expansion opportunities within existing accounts

Core areas of focus

- Demand generation. Generate qualified pipeline to supplement outbound sales efforts — advertising, email campaigns, webinars, events, and lead-nurturing programs.
- Brand marketing. Make the company memorable: brand identity, creative direction, consistent messaging, and corporate campaigns.
- Product marketing. Help buyers understand why they should buy. Sit between Product, Customer Success, and Sales to shape positioning, messaging, and competitive intelligence.
- Overall marketing strategy. Own competitive positioning, messaging, market awareness, and marketing operations as the function matures.

What We’re Looking for: We are looking for an entrepreneurial marketing leader who is excited by the opportunity to build something meaningful.

- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience in technology, SaaS, or managed services
- Hands-on experience with content creation and building brand awareness through consistent messaging
- Exposure to demand generation and product marketing, including working alongside sales leaders and customer success on competitive positioning
- Strong commercial orientation with experience tying marketing to pipeline and revenue growth
- High agency & ownership: You take initiative, make decisions without constant approval, solves problems independently
- Results over activity mindset: You own the numbers and can connect marketing programs directly to business outcomes
- Comfortable with ambiguity: You are energized by the opportunity to build from the ground up, create structure, and figure things out without a playbook
- MUST be Vancouver based and open to 2 days in office
