Responsibilities

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
- Support seniors and individuals with disabilities through compassionate care tailored to their unique needs
- Administer medications safely following established protocols and document all medication activities accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are respected
- Maintain a clean, secure, and welcoming environment by performing light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a sense of community and belonging




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor residents’ health status and report any concerns promptly

Requirements

- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in senior care, dementia care, or caring for individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks, meal preparation, and other household duties effectively
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent is an asset; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
