Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and encourage social engagement
- Perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment
- Help clients with home care tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and organization




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and monitor client progress in the community setting

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities or home care is highly desirable
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Valid certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent credential is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs or mobility challenges is a plus
