We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment used in manufacturing and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of equipment, contributing directly to the efficiency of our operations.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanically inclined professionals passionate about industrial maintenance and eager to work in a fast-paced setting.
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment. This includes aerial lifts, automotive vehicles, power tools, and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and some truck and coach experience.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding
equipment, tire machine etc.
- Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Operate heavy equipment for maintenance and repair purposes
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a heavy duty Mechanic
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Robust communication skills
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in industrial maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage electrical systems, and CMMS software.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
