Job Summary

We are seeking a 2nd, 3rd year or Journeyman/Red Seal skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the maintenance and repair of various heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, packers, dumpers etc.
- Utilize schematics to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
- Conduct assembly and disassembly of machinery components as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment to test functionality post-repair.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in the shop or field.
- Assist in welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.

Requirements

- Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment; dealership experience is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
