Heavy-Duty Mechanic – Full Time

Northwind Transport Ltd. is looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy-Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Job Duties:

- Diagnose and repair trucks and trailers
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular inspections
- Repair brakes, suspension, steering and electrical systems
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems
- Perform oil changes, lubrication and general servicing
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and breakdowns
- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
- Ensure all equipment is safe and ready for operation

Requirements:

- Experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Positive knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes and hydraulic systems
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
- Own basic mechanic tools preferred
- Valid driver's licence preferred
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently
- Heavy-Duty Mechanic certification is an asset

Pay: $24.59-$43.29 per hour
