Overview

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining efficient and safe operations in construction industry. In this position, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery for demolition and excavation to support project completion, material handling, and site development. Your expertise will ensure that equipment functions smoothly, safety protocols are followed diligently, and project timelines are met with precision.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders with precision and safety awareness.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight using forklifts and other specialized equipment, ensuring secure handling of materials.
- Support site development activities by moving earth, debris, or materials according to project specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate equipment use and project tasks efficiently.
- Conduct minor repairs or troubleshooting on equipment when necessary, utilizing automotive repair skills to minimize downtime.

Skills





- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in construction, industrial, or logistics settings.
- Valid forklift certification and demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely.
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment operation principles and safety standards.
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting machinery issues quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and safety reporting.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere strictly to safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.
