Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Dozer and Grader Operators to support a winter drilling program involving the construction and maintenance of ice roads and access routes across a large operating area. The project will cover a mix of high-ground and low-ground leases, with operators travelling through areas that can become soft and challenging to navigate. Operators must be comfortable working in variable ground conditions and have the experience necessary to safely operate equipment while building and maintaining winter access. Ice road construction experience is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

- Operate dozers and graders safely and efficiently to support the winter drilling program.
- Build, maintain, and repair ice roads and winter access routes.
- Travel and operate equipment across high-ground and low-ground leases.
- Safely navigate soft, unstable, and challenging ground conditions.
- Strip and move soil as required to prepare leases, access routes, and work areas.
- Grade and maintain roads, pads, and other work areas to project specifications.
- Support drilling access and lease preparation activities.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
- Work closely with supervisors, drilling crews, and other operators to coordinate work and access requirements.
- Follow all site safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as required to support the project.

Requirements

- Previous experience operating dozers and graders in construction, oilfield, or winter access environments.
- Experience operating dozers ranging from D8 to 450-size equipment.
- Experience stripping and moving soil.
- Solid understanding of operating heavy equipment on soft and low-ground terrain.
- Ice road construction experience is an asset.
- Experience with winter road construction, drilling access, lease preparation, or oilfield operations is an asset.




- Ability to assess ground conditions and operate equipment safely in changing terrain.
- Strong commitment to safety and ability to follow site procedures and direction.
- Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
