- Provide patient care including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring under supervision or as trained
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required and safe handling practices
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well-being




- Document care activities accurately and report any changes in health status to supervisors or healthcare professionals

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia, or in hospice care settings
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices, medication administration, and safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and team members
- Valid certification in caregiving or relevant healthcare training is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
