We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Hostess/Expo to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure guests feel valued from the moment they arrive.

You’ll coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and servers to deliver a smooth dining experience, all while maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a quick-paced, dynamic setting where guest satisfaction is always the top priority.

Duties

- Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude, managing waitlists and reservations efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials
- Manage reservations using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Assist with food presentation by coordinating between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of dishes
- Keep dining areas clean, organized, and welcoming by performing regular cleaning and resetting tables quickly
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes to meet quality standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff about special requests, dietary restrictions, or timing adjustments
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience at all times
- Assist with cashiering duties,



including cash handling and processing payments accurately
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience preferred, especially in restaurant or hospitality settings
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or barista work is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Touchbistro POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and table resetting
- Experience with hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous but not required
- Basic cooking skills or kitchen experience can enhance performance in supporting food presentation tasks
