Responsibilities

- Change linens and make beds
- Vacuum guest room carpet
- Dust furniture
- Clean, scrub and wash bathroom areas
- Replace guest supplies
- Exchange curtains, sheers and other furnishing when required
- Collect and store soiled laundry on linen cart
- Report any damage of furniture, fixtures and electrical appliances
- Keep the Housekeeping Linen Room clean and tidy
- Collect garbage
- Ensure the floor master key is received and returned each shift
- Report and hand in all lost & found items
- Report any unusual, irregular behaviour of guest which arouses suspicion
- Perform extra cleaning tasks and other tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

- Is flexible to work any day of the week from Monday to Sunday mornings, afternoons and evenings, including weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays
- Is a friendly, energetic person who prides themselves on creating memorable guest experiences through warm & genuine service
- Room attendant experience an asset
- Able to walk, stand, bend, and scrub for long periods of time




- Able to push, pull and carry loads up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to understand and follow WHMIS at all times
- Understands that success lies in working together and enjoys being part of a team
- Gets excited by an energetic, fast-paced environment
- Speaks conversational English. Additional languages to connect with international guests is an asset
- Is excited to belong to a team of caring, warm, energetic Team Members
