We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve our manufacturing operations. This role will focus on improving productivity, efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness through process improvement, equipment projects and facility planning.

What You’ll Do

- Conduct time studies, work measurements and process analysis to establish labour standards and identify improvements.
- Research and evaluate new manufacturing equipment, machinery and technology.
- Analyze vendor quotations, equipment specifications and project costs.
- Prepare capital expenditure estimates, cost comparisons, payback calculations and business cases.
- Support capital equipment projects from initial requirements through installation and implementation.
- Develop and evaluate facility layouts, equipment placement and material flow.
- Support equipment installation, relocation and modification projects.
- Analyze production data, capacity and resource requirements to improve manufacturing processes.
- Work with Production and Maintenance to identify equipment, process and workflow improvements.
- Support facility improvement and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with internal departments, contractors and equipment suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, layouts, specifications and project documentation.




- Participate in continuous improvement and other manufacturing engineering initiatives.

What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process improvement or a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience with time studies, process analysis and productivity improvement.
- Experience evaluating manufacturing equipment and supporting equipment or capital projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project coordination skills.
- Ability to analyze costs, quotations and technical information and make practical recommendations.
- Experience with facility layouts, material flow and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Experience in a heavy manufacturing or agricultural equipment environment would be considered an asset. #HP
