Role Description The Insurance Broker role is a full-time, on-site position located in Hamilton, ON. The broker will meet with clients to assess their insurance needs, recommend appropriate products, and prepare quotes for personal and commercial lines. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing policy applications, renewals, endorsements, and claims support, while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role involves regular client communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings, providing timely service and proactive coverage reviews.



The broker will also collaborate with insurers to negotiate terms, stay current on market trends, and contribute to business growth through client retention and referrals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance to advise clients and manage policies effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Relevant provincial insurance licensing (e.g., RIBO or equivalent) and experience in personal or commercial lines are preferred.
- Solid communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client files.
- Comfort using insurance management systems and common office software; willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Ability to work on-site in Hamilton, ON, collaborating with colleagues and engaging directly with clients.
