Elevate your career as an Intermediate Care Paramedic with Shared Health at the Swan River EMS Station. This clinically-focused position requires two years of pre-hospital care as a Primary Care Paramedic.
You will bring your skills in emergency response, patient relations, and culturally sensitive care to a supportive setting. Fluency in an Indigenous language or experience with diverse communities is an asset, enriching the service provided to all Manitobans. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-hospital care to patients in emergency situations
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment
- Collaborate with health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Participate in community outreach and educational programs
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Primary Care Paramedic program
- Valid Certificate of Practice with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba
- Current Class IV Manitoba driver’s license
- Completion of Basic and Advanced Life Support certifications
- Physical Fitness Assessment completion required
