GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER Location: Toronto / North Bay, Ontario

TRS Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure, energy, and resource sector projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to technically challenging assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute geotechnical and hydrogeological site investigations.
- Perform engineering analyses related to slope stability, foundations, and earthworks.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Support construction oversight and quality assurance activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.




- Support mining, energy, and resource development projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering.
- Eligible for Qualified Engineer registration in a Canadian province.
- Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation design.
- Experience supporting mining, energy, or resource development projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel for field assignments within Canada and internationally.
