Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Academic Operations this position provides leadership and advice to academic departments, and the Faculty's leadership team, on international articulation programs, and associated curricular initiatives. This facilitates the development of resources, pathways, and templates to guide these programs through the University's collegial governance and Quality Assurance processes. This position will also coordinate the student-facing aspects of implementing these programs within the Faculty.
This position will work closely with the International Strategic Enrolment Partnerships and Transnational Education hub in the Office of the Vice-Provost Global Engagement as well as with the Office of the Vice Provost Teaching and Learning, Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment, the Office of the University Registrar, and all FAS academic departments. Additional duties may entail conducting research, environmental scans, data collection and analysis. This position provides leadership and expertise on strategic initiatives and policies and contributes to their implementation and related communication. This position ensures new initiatives have clear program details, completes feasibility studies, assesses resource requirements and coordinates new initiative reviews and approvals. This position is accountable for overseeing high-priority projects, including developing strategies and implementation plans and ensuring deadlines are met.
What you will do
- Provides leadership and expertise on strategic initiatives and policies.
- Establishes, monitors, and communicates project timelines and milestones, maintains a project budget, and coordinates the work of faculty and staff.
- Supports proposal and/or Memorandum of Understanding development for new programs and project development, partner stewardship, and partner relations.
- Coordinates, tracks and aggregates comprehensive program progress and impact reports for internal team analysis and high-level reporting to key partners.
- Evaluates business needs of various projects to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; collecting and coordinating submissions; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals, and managing deadlines.
- Develops, analyses and reviews information and policy in order to prepare reports and correspondence for distribution.
- Coordinates communication and action plans to facilitate projects and strategic initiatives.
- Performs financial feasibility assessments, including preparing short term budgets and forecasts.
- Provides statistical consultation/advice for faculty and residents. Performs sample size and power calculations. Drafts or reviews analysis sections of funding proposals. Conducts analyses and assists in interpreting data.
- Ensures that quality assurance is conducted on all key project deliverables.
- Conducts research and data analysis on the current market, prospective partners, industry trends, student demand and best practice in support of project development.
- Conducts post-implementation project reviews in conjunction with university partners to identify key learnings and opportunities for improvement. Creates summary report of findings and recommendations to share with key partners.

Required Education
- Four-Year Bachelor Degree or equivalent. In addition, requires trade certification, qualification, or on-going learning to remain ahead of changes in technology or emerging fields.
Required Experience
- More than 5 years of experience.
Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.
