Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.

- Build backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.

- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and business teams.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimation.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Implement appropriate security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.

- Support application deployment and production troubleshooting.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

Core Java

- Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming.

- Valuable understanding of Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Java 8+ features.

- Knowledge of Java Streams, Lambda Expressions,



and Functional Interfaces.

- Understanding of common design patterns and clean coding practices.

Spring Framework

- Strong experience with Spring Boot.

- Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.

- Experience developing RESTful APIs.

- Understanding of dependency injection and application configuration.

Database

- Good knowledge of SQL.

- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate.

- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is an advantage.

Tools & DevOps

- Experience with Git and version control.

- Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.

- Understanding of CI/CD concepts.

- Exposure to Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

- Understanding of system design and distributed systems.

- Experience with cloud-native application development.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
