Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, safety-conscious, and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our field operations team in Calgary. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing diverse electrical systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and local Alberta standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics.

· Perform conduit installation, cable pulling, terminations, and equipment commissioning.

· Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.





· Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.

· Ensure compliance with Alberta Electrical Code, company policies, and safety procedures.

· Work independently or collaboratively with project teams to complete projects on schedule.

· Mentor apprentices and provide guidance on best practices and safe work procedures.

· Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training initiatives.

Qualifications

· Valid Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certificate (or recognized Interprovincial Red Seal).

Late term apprentices with a experience in a service roll will also be considered for this opening

· Minimum 3 years of post-certification experience preferred.

· Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction and maintenance.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

· CSTS 2020 and other relevant safety certifications considered an asset.
