The Role

As a Junior Fire Protection Technician, you will carry out entry-level inspections and testing and work alongside our senior technicians on more complex jobs. This is a hands-on learning role with a clear path to advancement.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform COD inspections
- Inspect and service portable fire extinguishers
- Inspect and test emergency lighting systems
- Perform entry-level fire alarm inspections with assistance
- Assist senior technicians with sprinkler,



fire alarm, and other complex systems
- Complete accurate inspection reports and documentation
- Provide professional, courteous service to clients on site

Qualifications

- ASTTBC Fire Extinguisher and Emergency Lighting certifications are an asset. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and commitment to life safety work
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working at client sites
- Valid BC driver's license

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
