Duties

- Open and close the store confidently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Assist customers with product selections, upselling opportunities, and providing detailed information about merchandise.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and cash register reconciliation.
- Oversee stock organization, merchandising displays, and inventory management to maximize sales potential.
- Support team members with training on computer operation, Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel), and filing systems.
- Ensure store safety protocols are followed diligently,



including heavy lifting safety procedures and maintaining a clean environment.
- Handle administrative tasks such as time management scheduling, filing documents, and maintaining organizational records.

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are highly valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and basic computer skills for daily operations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when managing stock or merchandise.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory control.
- Multilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
