Job Summary

Duties

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of meal components
- Maintain high standards of food handling and safety protocols to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
- Serve food efficiently during meal times, ensuring proper portioning and presentation for guests
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and disposing of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations throughout service hours




- Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly processes
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and hygiene practices in the food industry
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with chefs, servers, and other kitchen staff
