Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support the cooking process
- Cook and serve dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support the serving staff by preparing plates and ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing




- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to develop their skills
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and basic meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of cooking methods and food industry standards is advantageous
- Experience with food safety practices and maintaining hygiene standards in a busy kitchen setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
