The Exchange Brewery is currently seeking a Kitchen Team Member. We are hiring one position starting October 15th.

Job Duties:

· Reports to the Kitchen Lead and Tap Room Manager

· Warming and assembling of all food products according to provided specifications in a small kitchen

· Menu item ingredient prep using a daily prep sheet to indicate levels on hand and amounts required

· Receive and put away food deliveries following FIFO rules and ensuring all products are stored properly according to safe food storage rules

· Clean and organize the kitchen by following all required checklists and cleaning schedules at open/close and throughout the shift

· Follow all safe food handling procedures

· Assure the proper care and maintenance of all food service equipment

· Other duties as required





Qualification Requirements:

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and keep cool under pressure

· Must have a robust initiative and a positive attitude

· Must be eligible to work in the Canada

· Previous experience in food assembly considered an asset

· Safe Food Handlers Certification considered an asset

If candidate is able to work both kitchen and serving role a more full time schedule could be negotiated.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: From $18.35 per hour
