Serpa Steel Custom Fabrication Inc. is looking for a Sheet Metal – Laser Cutting / Press Brake Operator to join our team for the night shift.
The successful candidate will assist with sheet metal fabrication and operate press brake and laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake and laser cutting equipment
- Set up machines according to job requirements
- Read and follow drawings and work instructions
- Measure and inspect finished parts for accuracy
- Load and unload materials as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures
- Assist with other shop duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with press brake, laser cutting,
or sheet metal fabrication preferred
- Ability to read basic drawings and measurements
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work the full 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift
Contract: This is initially a 6-month contract position, with the prospect to transition into a full time permanent position based on performance and business needs. Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
