About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead the development of advanced remote power solutions . This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. You will lead a team in designing, testing, and deploying cutting-edge electrical systems for off-grid and challenging environments. This role requires a deep understanding of power generation, energy storage, distribution, and control systems, with a strong emphasis on reliability and efficiency in isolated settings. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's innovative energy products and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the electrical design and engineering of robust remote power systems , including hybrid solutions (solar, generator, battery).
- Oversee the selection, integration, and testing of electrical components and sub-systems.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications for new product development and custom solutions.
- Mentor and guide a team of electrical engineers and designers, fostering a cooperative and high-performing environment.
- Conduct system-level analysis, including power quality, energy efficiency, and thermal management.




- Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Establish and maintain electrical design standards, best practices, and documentation protocols.

Requirements

- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a significant focus on power systems, renewable energy, or off-grid applications.
- Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex technical projects.
- Expertise in AC/DC power electronics, battery management systems (BMS), inverters, and generators.
- Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and CAD software.
- Strong understanding of system integration, testing, and validation methodologies.
