Status: Regular full-time We believe in the strength of our team and the diversity of skills. Under the responsibility of the Director of Flight Operations - Airplane, your role consists of safely planning and managing aeromedical evacuation flights, in close cooperation with the flight crew and ground crew. Pilot our aircraft as part of operations
- Work in collaboration with the medical crew throughout the patient evacuation
- Support the crew throughout patient care
- Apply and always be up to date with organizational, flight, and regulatory procedures
- Maintain your skills and actively participate in airplane division projects. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with the crew and air traffic controllers
- Ability to undergo training on a fast-paced, changing, and complex schedule
- Act with professionalism and loyalty in the execution of work and respect all of Airmedic's orientations, policies, and directives
- Technical skills Bilingual (French and English) * Professional level English is required for communication with English-speaking clients or external partners such as air traffic controllers and ground teams in various countries. Additionally, this may meet legal and regulatory requirements for international operations.
Technical requirements Hold a valid Category 1 medical certificate without restrictions for night flight
- Meet French and English language proficiency standards minimum ICAO level 5. Valid PIC PPC on Learjet 40, 45, 70 and/or 75 (Includes LR45XR and LR40XR) (Must be acquired within the first month of employment if required)
- Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
- International experience (asset)
- Asset: Experience on Learjet 40, 45, 70 and 75 (includes LR45XR and LR40XR) ~ Ability to work and perform a normal and sustained work mission for 14 consecutive days, with shifts lasting up to 14 hours, including weekends and holidays
- Valid Canadian passport without restrictions (authorized to travel to the United States and internationally)
- No criminal record that would impede the ability to travel to the United States and internationally
