International Trade Compliance Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable International Trade Compliance Specialist to manage and ensure the proper handling of goods in compliance with trade regulations. This key role involves collaborating with internal teams, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to support timely customs clearance and accurate tariff classifications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of international trade policies, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.

Ensure incoming goods comply with Canada Border Services Agency requirements, including tariff classifications and trade data management through the CBSA CARM Portal. Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, couriers, freight companies, and government agencies to facilitate smooth import processes and adhere to applicable trade regulations.



Work with internal teams to classify goods under Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes and support trade compliance initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, or supply chain management. Minimum of one year related experience in trade compliance or customs management. Familiarity with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Incoterms, and relevant trade regulations including ITAR and EAR.

Canadian, and international markets.

Certification as a Canadian Society of Customs Brokers Certified Trade Compliance Specialist or the ability to attain this certification within one year of hiring. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
