Legal Office Manager Some people manage an office. Our Client is looking for a seasoned Office Manager who knows the legal environment, thrives on keeping things moving, and takes genuine pride in creating a workplace where people can do their best work. With a minimum of five years of legal office experience under your belt, you’re someone who can confidently juggle the details, solve problems before they become problems, and be the go-to person for both the team and leadership.

Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficient workflows, professional standards, and an organized work environment.
Manage office supplies, equipment, furniture, vendors, service contracts, renewals, and related costs. Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems in compliance with Law Society record-keeping and confidentiality requirements. Support accounts payable, including invoice processing and coordination with accounting.
Serve as the primary liaison with IT providers and legal software vendors, coordinating troubleshooting, upgrades, and ongoing support.
Coordinate onboarding logistics, including workstations, system access, email, and legal software. Coordinate internal CPD sessions, staff meetings, training, memberships, subscriptions, and professional affiliations.
Maintain consistent client service standards and handle sensitive or escalated inquiries with discretion and confidentiality. Provide guidance and support to administrative staff, promoting collaboration, accountability, and best practices. Assist partners and firm management with operational, administrative, strategic, and special projects.
Contribute to continuous improvement of office procedures, workflows, and administrative systems. 5+ years of experience in office administration or operations, preferably in a legal environment. ~ Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. ~ Proven leadership and communication skills, with experience supporting administrative teams and providing exceptional client service. ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal software, and technology systems, with the ability to coordinate with IT and external vendors. ~ High level of professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and knowledge of confidentiality and legal administrative requirements. #
