DentalVille is a dentist-owned general practice in Oakville with a close-knit team. We're looking for a Level II CDA who communicates well with patients and wants to be part of a team that supports each other.
What you'll do
- Assist the dentist chairside during surgical and restorative procedures, as well as general dentistry
- Perform Level II intra-oral duties as assigned by the dentist:
- Expose radiographs as prescribed
- Set up, turn over, and stock operatories
- Carry out instrument reprocessing and infection control to current IPAC standards
- Keep accurate chart entries in our practice management software
- Work with the front desk to keep the day running on time
What we're looking for
- Level II qualification: NDAEB certificate or ODA Level II certification
- HARP certification
- At least 1 year of chairside experience in a dental office
- Experience assisting with oral surgery and restorative procedures
- Strong working knowledge of IPAC protocols
- Current CPR certification
- A reliable, friendly team player
- Experience with Akitu One is an asset, but we're happy to train
