Become an impactful Licensed Practical Nurse in the School Health Program at the Leduc Community Health Centre. Provide essential immunization and health services to school-aged children while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team. In this part time role, you will support the health needs of students across multiple schools, including Leduc, Beaumont, and Devon.
As a vital member of the team, you will engage in immunization assessments, educational presentations, and care coordination with families. Your organizational and clinical skills will be essential for managing high volumes of immunizations and completing accurate charting in various settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immunization and health assessments to school-aged children
- Collaborate with community stakeholders and school staff
- Chart and document patient information effectively
- Travel to schools and health sites within the community
- Deliver educational presentations to diverse audiences
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited practical nurse program
- Active registration with College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
