Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in food presentation, garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food handling and safety protocols.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing meal preparation tasks.
- Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper storage, sanitation, and handling procedures.
- Collaborate with servers to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent food service.




- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience preferred but not required; a robust willingness to learn is valued.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Experience in meal preparation within the food industry is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy pots or trays, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles is advantageous.
