Duties

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet food safety standards
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure proper storage and freshness of ingredients
- Support serving staff by preparing garnishes and plating dishes as directed
- Ensure timely setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during shifts to promote efficiency
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for everyone





Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
- Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper hygiene procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
- Solid teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and meal presentation is a plus
