Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, meal preparation,



and food safety standards

Skills

- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Robust understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation standards
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service
- Familiarity with the food industry trends and best practices in food safety and sanitation
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
