Associates in this group play a key role in supporting the identification, development and execution of current business opportunities across corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, debt capital markets, and equity capital markets transactions. Working closely with senior bankers, clients, and internal product specialists, the Associate is responsible for conducting financial analysis, developing client presentations, managing deal processes, and contributing to relationship management efforts that drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced,



client-focused environment.Skills & QualificationsCompletion of a university degree in a business-related disciplineMinimum of three (3) years of investment banking experience in a similar role - experience in both M&A; and corporate finance preferredSolid quantitative skills including strong financial modeling skillsStrong analytical ability and written communication skillsResourceful, diligent and strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities ResponsibilitiesAssist senior bankers in preparing strategic client pitches, marketing materials and relationship plans.Build and maintain complex financial models, including discounted cash flows (DCF’s), comparable company analyses, precedent transaction analyses, leveraged buyout models (LBO), and merger and acquisition accretion / dilution analyses.Develop valuation materials and transaction recommendations for internal and client presentations.Coordinate due diligence activities and data room management.Prepare transaction documentation, marketing materials, and management presentations.Liaise with clients, legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors throughout the transaction life cycle.Monitor market trends, industry developments, and capital market activity to identify opportunities for clients.Performance-based bonuses, health and dental benefits offered through Manulife, and paid time off.An Employee Stock Purchase Program with employer stock matching and additional employee benefits designed to support overall well-being.In order to be considered for employment, candidates selected for interviews will be required to show proof of citizenship, permanent residence or eligibility to work in Canada with no restrictions.Protecting your online safety:If you have received a text message claiming to be from CG or an authorized representative regarding job recruitment, please treat as fraudulent and do not respond.No phone calls please.
