Maintenance Millwright

Location: Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge, ON

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Shift: Straight Midnight Shift – 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM

Pay: $42.00–$45.00/hour + shift premium

Overtime: Available as required

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Millwright for a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment in Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, repair, install, maintain, dismantle, and overhaul manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure reliable machine performance.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment plans.
- Use hand and power tools to complete repairs, installations, and equipment improvements.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements
- Valid 433A Millwright Certificate of Qualification .
- Completed apprenticeship in Canada




- Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment .
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- General blueprint reading knowledge.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written.
- Must own a complete set of tools/toolbox.
- Ability and willingness to work a straight midnight shift and approximately one weekend every five weeks .

Assets: Experience with overhead cranes, tow motors, aerial lifts, and industrial measuring equipment.
